The Design Firm
Born in Milan, Francesco Paszkowski moved with his family to Florence. While studying there he began to take an interest in design, in particular yacht design. He started off training alongside his father Giovanni before becoming a pupil of renowned architect Pierluigi Spadolini, In 1990 he took the next step and set up independently, opening his own design firm.
He has created an extensive fleet of yachts and new designs ranging in size from 24m to 70m, both planing and displacement, in fiberglass and aluminium. A growing number of select owners and renowned shipyards throughout the world single out the Paszkowski design firm as the place to have their yachts conceived.
In addition to his collaboration with Baglietto in 1992, Paszkowski continues to further increase his pool of clients by aligning himself with Heesen Yachts, Sanlorenzo, CRN, Turquoise Yachts, Canados, ISA Yachts and Tankoa Yachts. Over the years Francesco Paszkowski Design has accrued a number of international prizes and accolades in recognition of its growing body of work.
At the design studio, located today in the foothills of Florence, both designers and architects join Paszkowski in all aspects of a project, from the very first sketch to a yacht’s maiden voyage, working tirelessly together to find owner-tailored solutions for exterior, interior and soft furnishing design.
More recently, Paszkowski established a partnership with the Politecnico University of Milan with the aim of launching a host of educational programmes for young designers. It is hoped this will boost and support multicultural collaboration with tomorrow’s generation of designers to enhance and build on the designs of the future.
